Free Roaming Games
HERO ZONE
Hero Zone is our newest addition! It is a collection of various free roaming mini games which all have a different flavor so there is something for everyone to enjoy!
During your booking you will attempt 3 of the 5 games listed below, you will be able to choose on the day which games you want to play. Hero Zone is perfect for first time VR users alongside the more experienced experts as you will get to work together and try a variety of games.

*Note Quantum Arena and Cops vs Robbers are a max of 4 players so won't be an option for groups of 5 or 6. Groups of 5 or 6 will still be able to play the other 3 games.
Dead Ahead: The apocalypse is here! You and your friends make a last stand to defend against the undead. Prepare your defenses & pick your weapons before the zombies attack. Each wave the zombies become faster and the pressure builds up. Do you have what it takes to survive?
Arrowsong: Orcs, goblins and a menacing dragon are out to destroy the sacred tree! You and your band of heroes have been called upon to stop this evil and bring peace to the fairy realm. A dangerous mission that might overwhelm even the most seasoned adventurer. Take them on with your bow and arrow!
Quantum Arena: Challenge your friends in an intense futuristic tournament! Team-up or fight in a free-for-all battle for the highest score. This is a player vs player shooting game, good luck!
Cyber Shock: You and your squad of heroic digital warriors try to eradicate the virus that has taken over your system. A fast paced futuristic shooter with dynamic gameplay elements. Dodge lasers, bullets, firewalls, all this whilst trying to destroy the enemy with your dual wielded laser guns.
Cops Vs Robbers: The vault has been broken open, a robbery is on it’s way. Join the fray as either Cop or a Robber and shoot it out on the inside of a bank. Have a firefight with full freedom of movements in this location based VR shooter.
Arizona Sunshine - Zombies Part 1
It's an early apocalyptic world where you are part of the military. Your mission: To contain the outbreak and launch the missile. You will face hordes of zombies, traverse mind tricking locations and solve various tasks along your journey.
Once completed, the remainder of your time will be spent in the Arizona Desert, supplied with all sorts of guns fending off waves of zombies.

Recoil - PvP Shooter
Recoil is a competitive player vs player shooting game. Face off against your friends and family in virtual reality to see who will come out on top.
Recoil is similar to lazertag or paintball but in VR, you will face off in multiple virtual arena's to find who is the best competitor!

Arizona Sunshine - Zombies Part 2
A scientist claims to have the cure for the infection but is trapped in the zombie-infested Arizona Star Refinery.
Your mission: In a daring mission that seems doomed from the start, you will need to arm yourselves with whatever weaponry you can find and blast your way through a refinery overrun with undead. Then make your way to the very top in an attempt to escape the refinery with the means to end the zombie apocalypse.

How many people can play ? Is there a minimum ? Is there a maximum
The amount of people depends on the game you choose, for zombies it's between 2 to 4 people. Recoil and Herozone can take 2-6 players.
How much does it cost ?

I don't know what to book ?
There are 3 options for what to book. If you have never done VR before we recommend Herozone as you get to try a range of games and it's a good starter experience to introduce you to the free roaming world.
Zombies - for older people to work together and shoot zombies
Recoil - Go around shooting each other in VR like lazertag or paintball
Hero Zone - Try a wide range of games.
Where are you located
Our free roaming experience is located at the Cork Road, Waterford, X91 AP22, There is ample parking at the facility. We are beside Pierce Hire and Across the Road from Ramen Street Food
What do I need to wear ? Will it work if I wear glasses ?
Our headsets go over any sort of clothing but we do advise to wear light clothing as you will work up a sweat for sure! Glasses are allowed and fit inside our headsets. We do however recommend you don't wear a hat or have your hair tied up in a bun.
Who can play ?

Our Zombie Experience is for ages 13+, gore and blood graphics can be turned off for players between the ages of 13-18.

You must be over 8 years old for our other experiences.

You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Unfortunately, due to the game mechanics and for safety reasons we currently cannot accept wheelchair users for free roaming.

If you have epilepsy, have a significant visual impairment, broken limb, heart condition, are pregnant or are unable to move around freely for up to an hour with a weighted backpack, you will unfortunately not be able to play this experience. However, we have many more to offer. Please call us for more information.
How do I avoid hitting walls outside the experience ?
The software uses special techniques to prevent you from walking into walls. Blue chaperone walls will appear inside the experience to let you know you are approaching the outside of the play space. Additionally if you get to close to the walls the game will close and show you the outside world.
Will I be able to see my friends ?
You will be able to see and interact with your friends.
