Arena is a dynamic and immersive multiplayer shooter with sci-fi elements. Up to 7 players can battle it off in the same game!
We cater for corporates, groups, stags, hens, social clubs and birthday parties (8+). Our packages can be customised.
ABOUT US
Velocity VR is a technology based business in the southeast of Ireland. In January 2019 we opened Ireland's First Free Roaming Multiplayer Facility and expanded this to a full offering of VR experiences in July 2019.
The centre is based on the Tramore Road just outside of Waterford City and we cater for people of all ages that are interested in gaming, education and historical events in VR.
Come visit us during opening hours to see the facility and our friendly staff will give you a tour of all the experiences we offer.
FAQ
Do I need to be a Gamer or have Computer Experience ?
Absolutely no experience is required. We have single experiences if you would like to start off light with a 5 minute VR experience just to see what it's all about. We have gaming bays which require no previous gaming experience and our staff are there to help you along the way. For the ultimate experience why not try our free roaming venue or Assassins creed VR escape Rooms. Come into us at any time during our opening hours and we will give you a tour of the facility.
How much are the experiences ?
Our experiences range from as little as 6 EUR pp to 36 EUR pp
Will I be put with other people ?
We keep all our bookings separate so you won't be mixed in with any other groups or people.
Where are you located ?
Our centre is located at the Eir Code: X91 AP22 on the Tramore Road in Waterford, There is ample free parking at the facility. We are beside Pierce Hire and across the road from Ramen Street Food.

I don't know what to book ?
We offer a wide range of experiences to cater everyone! If it's your first time this can be daunting, If you are looking to come in and play by yourself try out our Gaming Bays, we have over 50+ games to choose between and you can try as many as you like during your booking. However, if you want to game together their are a few options, ARVI Arena is a VR shooting game where you go around and fight each other, If shooting isn't your style why not try an escape room?
